How It Works

The steps required to produce a therapeutic vaccine using our technology

Step 1: Profile the tumor to identify antigens that are over-expressed or unique to the tumor cells. These are represented by the smaller stars on the cell surface.

Step 2
: Isolate one or more antigens unique to the tumor which will be used to produce the vaccine.

Step 3: Obtain dendritic cells from the patient using leukapheresis and expose these cells to the unique antigen from step 2. Culture the newly exposed cells to produce a immuno-stimulatory product based on the patient's own cells.

Step 4. Inject the vaccine back into the patient, thus stimulating the patient's immune system to respond to the tumor and destroy it.
